G-NAS-ERVER

I built this as a gaming server, media server, and NAS.
Probably also use it for other server functions as well.

If need be, I can put in a new PSU, and GTX780 SC for gaming.

I can't believe how powerful on board graphics are now, I can play older games like L4D2 on the HD 630 no problem.

The RAM is from my X99 that I upgraded to 32GB/3200MHZ so it's a quad channel kit in dual mode of course.
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) C16 Memory Kit - Red Model CMK16GX4M4A2666C16R

I connect to this PC with Windows Remote Desktop. I started using it recently, and the last time I used it was Windows ME maybe, or XP. It's so fast now on a Gigabit network, very smooth and painless connection, even use my dual monitors as well.

Serves up files very fast getting 116MB/s read and write on HDDs over the network. makes it great for backing any PC over the network.
