EH "DARK KNIGHT" left our forge a few months ago to provide a great gaming experience at 2560x1440p 144 Hz resolution and to ensure high performance when editing materials and capturing videos on the YT GregTV channel. All this is achieved while maintaining low component temperatures while maintaining a high work culture.

The LC system is equipped with two D5 pumps, the main EK G3 in the reservoir and the auxiliary D5 Inertia that allows you to eliminate the drop in the flow of liquid flowing through the GPU block, as well as an active backplate and lower radiator.

Active backplate (used here mainly for aesthetic reasons at the request of the PC owner) used even on the RTX 3080 more effectively removes heat from the pcb of the card, which translates into lower temperatures, unfortunately it naturally adds a restriction and pumps more heat to the system. The lower cooler is therefore equipped with a configuration of Push & Pull fans, which in turn effectively removes the generated heat outside the housing, thanks to these treatments the equipment remains cool and quiet even for many hours of continuous operation.

The early concept was to build a configuration based on several components that Bru ... Grzegorz provided us with, but these were inadequate to the machine's use, besides Greg finally wanted something more :)

The i7-12700K was replaced with the i9-12900K, the Z690 AORUS Elite DDR4 > to the Z690 Maximus XIV HERO. GIGABYTE RTX 3080 10 GB EAGLE with extremely low PT 345W has been changed to the very successful RTX 3080 12 GB FTW3 model with PT 450W from the EVGA stable. This translated into differences between the GPU performance up to 17% in favor of the FTW3.

RTX 3080 12 GB, apart from a wider memory bus (384 Bit instead of 320 Bit), also has 2 active SM blocks more, which translates into additional CUDA, TMU, TENSOR and RT cores compared to the RTX 3080 10 GB version. The added 2 GB of VRAM naturally also brings its benefits. Hardly anyone is aware of the fact that both the RTX 3080 12 GB and the RTX 3090 Ti are equipped with GDDR6X revisions that are newer than the previous Ampere, which allow for higher OC with a lower energy cost themselves, thus more power remains for more effective core clock management and translates into higher boost.
Naturally, the config is precisely adjusted, it has several OC profiles
