Now some pictures of the building process.
At first, I cut out some parts of the case to make room.
I used white spray paint, this was the final result.
Same thing with the radiators.
I took some measurements and created a bottom plate and a plate for the mainboard tray. The material is solid polystyrene which I cut with a fine jigsaw.
I wanted to a break from the usual 120mm rear fan, so I went with an EK FLT 120 reservoir, which is also proofed to be convenient for filling the system.
One 240mm radiator sits on the bottom plate, the reservoir is mounted on the wall with regular screws.
After having installed the front 360mm radiator, I realised that the holes on the bottom plate are to close to use a 90 degree fitting or bend, so I had to improvise a litte...
First look with all the radiators in place.
The 6900XT is sagging a litte which is unfortunate.
Plugging in the lower connectors on the motherboard wasn't easy with the fans installed on the radiator but it worked.
After having mostly straight, parallel tubes in my previous builds, I wanted to try out more complicated bends this time.
The final 180 degree bend also finished.
It was tricky to bend 180 degrees with the right radius so that the tubes run parallel, but I'm quite happy with the result.
I used soft tubes in the chamber to connect the pump and radiators.
First look with the CableMod kit in place.
First bottle of Mayhems Pastel X1 UV Black concentrate.
I immediately ordered another one because I wasn't happy with the Coke / red wine look of the coolant.
The loop simply contains too much water for only one 250ml bottle of concentrate to make it look opaque.
Apart from that though, I looks really good.
Result after the second bottle of Mayhems X1.
I also added another 16GB of DDR4.
