Corsair 280x - Bykski Build

This build is a mixture of mainly second hand and new parts, intended to be used for a bit of gaming and office work. Nothing too strenuous though!

I have always liked dual chamber cases and MATX form factor, so the Corsair 280x was an easy choice. However I quickly found out that with two radiators installed, pump mounting options become somewhat limited. I have seen a couple of builds use the grill near the motherboard IO, but did not really like the tube runs. So in the end the pump / reservoir combo was installed in the rear chamber, which did require a couple of small modifications. To be honest my DIY skills are very limited, but armed with a drill and step-bit, managed to install two pass through fittings. Not going to the lie the rear chamber is not the most organised, but I managed to cram everting in eventually.

All of the water cooling components are from Bykski, purchased via Ali Express. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and will more than likely use them again. The CPU waterblock is massive, apparently it is also compatible with Threadripper Emoji One thing to note though is that all of the fans and RGB use a proprietary controller, with a further remote to change speed and lighting effects etc. However, there's also a choice of connecting to the motherboard RGB header. The only minor gripe is that the fans are somewhat loud, even on the lowest setting. Overall super quality for the price.
