Brq Zero: Volt

The RGB build is finally here!!

Build Image

this is the latest in the series of Brq Zero builds, dubbed Volt instead of calling it Brq Zero RGB .. that wouldn't have been creative, not sure about Volt either but it's a name that relates to the branding of Brq which translates to Lightning.

this build is even more refined, although not visible, now at version 8 it has better cable management which I had to consider since previous builds didn't account for the extra rgb cables, and if you ever built a regular size pc with rgb in mind I'm sure you would appreciate how hard it will be in a sub 9L case.

the components in this build are mostly from my own PC like the CPU, MB, Storage & RAM. the rest is brand new.

the only issue I faced is the VRM heatsink on the x570 phantom gaming itx/tb3 motherboard, it didn't allow the axp120-x67 heatsink to seat correctly so I had to remove it, cut around 30% of it, I then coated it with black enamel spray paint, used new thermal pad and viola heatsink didn't have an issue anymore.

on idle temps are very very good considering that I'm running an R9 5950x, it idles at 40c average and the RTX 4060 averages 33c like the previous builds.

I didn't try heavy loads much but it sustains 85 to 88c average on the CPU, I didn't check GPU but usually that hovers between 65c to 75c on previous builds, I will run some benchmarks and add the information here later.

the 3D printed parts this time are printed using PETG although the PLA builds are still running solid after one year plus of daily use, all parts were printed on the Anycubic Kobra 2 max, a decent printer but lacks accuracy which I have to compensate in the slicer settings.

and finally I got my own CO2 laser, an xtool p2s which will help me keep everything in house now and no delays or long waiting time to get the panels done, yay!

I hope you like this one, I'll have more soon.

Check out my other builds as well
