Fun fact: I sold this card, the buyer broke it on day 1...
Fiddy-6-Fiddy [56.40L ATX]
This was one of the first builds I put together from the ground up. I think it was #2 or #3. Back in 2015, LGA1366 hexcores were all the rage in used builds (because Ryzen 5 wasn't a thing yet) and I wanted in. Got an X5650 for a few bucks off ebay, a P6T Deluxe for too much locally, threw in some collection of generic ram. Modded the bios, overclocked, built wild constructions for vrm cooling so I could get just a few more MHz for benchmarks... At some point I shifted the build's focus to being a quiet semi-workstation I could leave running overnight to do rendering or whatever. Dialed back the OC, slapped on a Macho, a few other changes, swapped through like half a dozen videocards (560Ti to 660 to something something to 760x2 to 780Ti to 290X now) and here we are now.
Still runs like a dream, but it's losing relevancy mostly due to lack of AVX support...
