I built this pc for a friend who originally wanted a $350 laptop capable of AAA gaming. I slowly convinced him that a proper PC was the way to go, so the parts started. The CPU and motherboard were bought in late 2017, and it was originally going to be running on the igpu (mining craze), and the 2200g and i3 8100 hadn't been released yet. The i3 7100 was selected over a g4560 because its igpu is slightly better (hd530 over hd510). Long story short, he ended up finding a 1060 dual that was clogged up with that nasty cigarette tar/dust combo for a decent price for sale, so he bought it. This particular configuration was probably only running for ~5 months before a motherboard and cooler swap, followed by a platform upgrade.
The name stems from the miserable timing of the parts bought. If everything had been bought the day it was built, this could have been a ryzen 5 gtx 1070 system.
