To save the budget we raided the parts bin and found these Thermaltake Pure 12 fans that had the cables removed to make them easier to use for test fittings.

... we soon had the fans wired back up with custom length wires to avoid having excess clogging up the rear.

One of the easiest little mods you can do to tidy up your cabling is to combine all the front panel connectors into a single sleeved cable.

Tying the PCIE cables round the side of the graphics card not only keeps them nice and neat, but with a little tension round the back can help fight GPU-sag

MC0003 - Phenteks P400A AMD Build

Adam came to us in November to do a build for his son for Christmas. He had a fairly tight budget that wouldn't stretch to the latest hardware, but with some careful component choices (and a little luck finding a reasonably priced GPU), we were not only able to build him a system packed full of AMD power to rip through anything at 1080p, but with the GORGEOUS 😍 MSI B550 Gaming Carbon it's also ready to unlock the full potential of Ryzen 5000 and Radeon 6000 in the future, without having to change the rest of the system.
