Back side view, side panel removed. Keeping the cables as neat as possible, though there is a bit of spaghetti on the bottom area, but well that is what the back is for isn't it...
Inside view, glass side panel removed.
Black Phoenix II
Recently upgraded motherboard/CPU/RAM, due to old Intel DH55TC motherboard finally dying shortly after a power outage and surge.
Also replaced power supply.
Kept all other components from previous build Black Phoenix (GPU, case, drives, etc).
Recently upgraded motherboard, CPU and RAM. Since the rest is basically the same as previous build, decided to just create new build and call it Black Phoenix II.
Old Intel mobo finally died, most likely after a recent power surge, though it did not die right away. It happened when I was upgrading from Windows 7 - Windows 10, bunch of reboots, yadda yadda. It finally did not boot. But it was odd, it did show the initial Intel splash screen, just would not proceed past that. Couldn't get into BIOS, boot off external USB, nothing. I opened the case to inspect, found leaking caps.
Press "F" in the chat to pay respects.
So it was time to finally upgrade. Old mobo was Intel DH55TC, 1st gen Intel Core i7 870 CPU, 16GB RAM.
New setup is a Gigabyte B450M-DS3H, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 "AF" (aka the refresh 1600, which is basically a slightly downclocked R5 2600), and 16GB DDR4 RAM.
Now I am all Team AMD.
Added more fans.
Total of 4 case fans + CPU fan + PSU fan. 2 front - intake. 1 rear, 1 top - exhaust. No RGB. ;)
