Quick build I threw together because I wanted to build in the NV5 to test fitments while I waited for the actual parts to arrive for a customer build in the case. I also wanted to do some more ARC testing so I figured I'd make it somewhat clean and take some pictures of it while I had it together. There are definitely a few misses with the NV5 but it's certainly up there as one of the top two best values at typical street prices for watercooling. The other being the NZXT H7 Flow. For the vast majority of end users, they are the best balance of cooling potential, size, ease of build, overall quality, and price
Coolant is just distilled water with Liquid Utopia and pink, and a bit of purple, Mayhems dye.
Fans are Thermalright TL-B12. I maintain these are amazing for the sub $10 price. I use the thumbnuts they come with all the time for other things than mounting the fans.
Cablemod Modmesh cables in black.
A few pieces of aluminum to cover some of the cables but nothing requiring any effort since this was thrown together.
Singularity Protium 2.0 Reservoir/pump. I picked this up for cheap from TitanRig. This thing looks way better in person than in photos online. I used to not like this design at all, but since I've used them, they've grown on me. They are ridiculously functional. I still mostly prefer the Protium 1.0 design over the 2.0 and 3.0 because I prefer simplicity, but dang people really missed out on this thing and I'm one of them.
Motherboard and CPU were bought damaged from ebay then fixed. Alphacool Aorura Edge CPU block, currently back in my main build, and EK PE 360 I also bought used online for stupid cheap. I buy most RAM from best buy simply to use up my rewards points. This set is no different. I usually have $40 - $80 in rewards monthly so it's great to be able to reinvest it directly into parts.
