The case has arrived, today was spent doing a complete disassemble and taking measurements with the caliper to get sizing. Since I'm using a flat res from Phanteks and an EK ddc pump, I have to limit myself to either the MSI 3070 Ventus 2x or the Zotac 3070 Twin Edge that both fall at 9.13". That will give me clearance to run the hard lines. Now knowing that a water block isn't available for either of these cards, the initial build will have the water line run where the gpu water block connectors will be, with a f/f coupler and 2 compression fittings so that when it does come out we can drain the system, and insert the card with block and right angle connectors and just trim down those 2 hard line runs.
The radiator has been a problem spot to find, I ended up ordering from the UK so I'm at the mercy of the Royal Mail to get it to the US. Of course the day after it ships Titan rig has them in stock. Sigh.
I believe I want to create an offset of color, I'm going to take the spine out of the case that the Mobo and the GPU riser connect to and paint it white. When the res comes in I'll measure and cut out a pass through hole for the DDC pump (might not have to with the right sized standoffs). With the SFX psu, I'll have room for the 23mm pump mounted to the back side of the res to pass through onto the other side of the case without interfering with cables. This will most likely result in having to have cablemod make some custom length cables so that i'm not trying to wrangle an octopus in this case.
I'll need to make sure I have a drain capability for travel and use distilled water on location, not an issue, just planning in a small case for either a push/pull drain or a valve drain, we will see which fits better. The res should be here Friday'ish?
