What do you get when you cross the Fractal North with the Meshlicious? The Fractalicious? well, there is a better name ;). My wife needed a new PC because the PSU in her old PC failed and brought the motherboard with it. She wanted a SFF PC, that better coordinated with her work area. She did not need anything over-the-top and will be using the PC for work, spreadsheets, light gaming, and photo editing.
As we looked at cases, she loved the Fractal North and the white Meshy. She was disappointed that the Fractal North did not come in a SFF size. So, the idea popped in my head to DYI our own SFF Fractal North using the Meshy . . . I mean Fractalicious. The Fractal Northesque wood trim was made from Poplar 1/4 inch slats. They were stained with golden oak stain. I used "non-destructive" methods to adhere the front panel extender using magnets. The wood trim was assembled using wood glue and attached to the front panel using magnets. She loved the way the build turned out! For me, a fun PC mod project.
