Awaiting parts. Sorry for the delay, not much i can do it about it right now but my most recent order is on its way consisting of more fittings, tubing and my flow indicator. My main hold up is the radiators and all my fittings coming from EKWB. They are doing there best so all i can do is wait but it seems each time i check the website for stock updates the date keeps moving back.......stop ordering parts people!!!!! LOL. Oh well, they get here when they get here. So excited to get this thing started, nervous about making changes to the design mid build due to all the amazing ideas that inspire me on here.
Small order arrived!

Small update - EK have notified me about my radiators shipment and it's held up waiting for my 90° fittings to come back in stock for the whole order to be shipped at once. One small separate order arrived today and the pics have been updated with a new one showing what arrived. New flow indicator is part of that shipment so excited to see how it works and where it's going to go in my build. Also got notified from Klemen @ EK that he has a surprise EKWB promo pack getting sent with the main order to make up for the delay which is a really nice touch and totally unexpected. Will show you guys when it arrives.
All aboard!!

Finally everything is here and ready to go. I'll do my best to keep everything updated on here as I go. First part was to pull down the whole system and start from scratch. Mounting the monoblock was my second step and general tidy up of the motherboard. Next was the GPU mounting process and getting it ready to install. As the block for the GPU is actually designed for the 2080 and my card is a 2070 I had to double check all my thermal pads to make sure that I don't miss any locations on the PCB that require contact cooling. I think I have it right now. Next will be to mount fans on the rads.
Parts are being mounted.

The motherboard and rads are now being mounted as well as the vertical GPU bracket. The 2070 super with the EK block on it is enormous! I'm glad I got the vertical mount because I'm not sure it would've fit horizontally. I'm loving the quality of the EK parts and I cannot thank the guys at EKWB enough especially Klemen Grcar for all their assistance getting everything to me here in Australia during these crazy times. Not looking forward to the cable management using extension cables but I'll see how I go. Might be making another order from Cablemod before this is done for replacement cables.
So the loop is complete and the air pressure test passed with, in my opinion, flying colours. There was not even a tiny drop in air pressure on the tester in over 3hrs and I'm sure there will be mixed opinions on wether that's long enough or too long but for me I thought it was adequate. Due to the amount of fittings I used to get the look I was (sort of) going for I was quite nervous about wether it would pass the pressure test. Thankfully all the extra time I spent basically polishing the hard tubing where I made my cuts was worthwhile as they all fit together perfectly and there was not one damaged O ring in the whole build. Unfortunately the two runs from the GPU have some sag in them due to the weight of the fittings and the flow meter. I will address this at a later date, probably when I either empty and refill the loop or when I decide how to better design the runs themselves.
