The Antec TORQUE build created by ModMyMods was for the Alphacool suite during CES 2019. Antec asked us to use their new TORQUE chassis which would be released later that year.
We took a different approach to the standard red or white version of the case. Instead of making it a color we wanted to create a brushed look among the entire setup. Hand sanded all of the parts we were going to brush then had them nickel-plated to give that extra shine. A matching single braid cable set and some fancy Mayhems fluid would make the build complete.
We used the new Alphacool dual D5 plexi pump top paired with their silver radiators and smooth gun metal color rings to accent the fittings. Antec was nice enough to provide their new RAM and PSU. We rigged their RGB fans & LEDS to a chrome Dimastech 16mm push-button switch on the front of the case, that way no RGB software would be needed to control the lighting effects.
TORQUE can be seen in the background during the ModMyMods News Updates and is used as a gaming PC for our streams :)
