Slimer
This is an old PC. My first custom cooling loop. I am sorry if the specs are incomplete, but I can't remember what they are, plus you can't buy this stuff anymore anyway.
This PC got it's name because I ran it for 3 years without changing the fluid. The biosides were not great back then. When I eventually changed the fluid, there was slime buildup in it. Since the fluid was green, it looked like the slime from Ghostbusters. After a good clean, it worked fine.
This has AMD Radeon memory (not made anymore) it is not in the list here so I chose a different brand.
This used to be in a beautiful Lain-Li case. During the first rebuild, I put it into a Fractal Design case so I could add a custom water loop. It ran for 3 years before it developed the slime.
After I cleaned out the slime it ran for another year. By this time AIOs came out and was a perfect fit for the FX chip. I removed the EK custom loop and added a Corsair 240 AIO (Old School H100 I think), don't have to worry about slime now.
Still running this computer today, in a server closet. I did steal the CFL tube from it for another build, bit it still looks OK. This PC was never ment to be a looker.
