This is my desk setup. An unintended but pleasant effect from installing RGB into this case is that the slits create a nice effect on the surroundings!
A close up of my finished build.
The Skyreach 4 Mini case was already beautiful on the outside and hopefully this build is beautiful on the inside too!
I couldn't get hold of the EVGA 3060 Ti XC, which is the only GPU that can fit inside this case. With no other available options, I went for the Zotac RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge. It was too long for my case so required some extreme modding. I replaced the fan shroud with two noctua slim chromax black fans installed in a bracket which comes with the S4 Mini.
Keeping the PSU inside the Skyreach 4 Mini, severely limits the maximum height of the GPU you can install. As a result, I decided to solder the GPU power connections directly on to the graphics card. I didn't use an angled power adapter as this forces the back of the GPU down and can cause output port misalignment.
The CPU fan is the classic slim noctua brown beige one but that didn't really fit the rest of the aesthetic so I spray painted it white.
I also custom cut and fit the wiring to keep the aesthetic as clean as possible.
I picked the wrong year to upgrade my gaming pc. Apparently I picked the wrong case too because finding a GPU that would fit was almost impossible. I found the EVGA 3060 TI XC but couldn't get hold of it. Instead I went for the Zotac 3060 Ti Twin Edge.
It was still too big and so I needed to cut the heatsink down and change the fans. I decided to solder the power cabling to the GPU rather than using angled adapters etc just because I thought it would look better and not force the GPU into a funny angle. While I was there I couldn't help but plug in some RGB too!
The CPU fan is the brown / beige noctua but spray painted white (I may replace it with a noctua chromax black fan - just can't decide whether black or white would accentuate the look of the wiring). The GPU fans are noctua chromax black.
I made custom cabling throughout the build to try and get a clean build.
