Had to take a peak. Still ways off before finalizing the build.
Some of the items started arriving for the loop.
Pic right before a couple of last minutes changes. Went to microcenter for some ram, and noticed they just stocked a board that they didn't have last week. Made an extra trip to switch from the Ace to the Godlike
Chassis ships with handy cover.
Dang. Comes with lots of stuff
Quality cloth bag like what the cable mod cables come in
Wait, this comes with a streaming card?
They really packed this box with lots of goodies
Close, but I'm happy all 95mm of this rad assembly clears the ram.
Learning how handy it is building on a tool box. Makes keeping the area clean and organized an easy task.
Tight run
Not sure how I feel...
And making them single slot
Looks like push pull will fit on the front. Good thing I have extra ml's lying around
Good opportunity to make the reservoir area look more spiffy
There's a couple of screw taps we can use here. Hopefully they're 6/32's?
This might actually work.
We incorporated a piano hinge for easy port access on the top rad. Couple of extra fill ports never hurt!
Heading out to the workshop, how convenient is it to just grab a few things and go?
Or the stress these cables are under
Let's replace the 50mm extension with a ball valve shall we?
The phanteks hub wasn't working right.
Going back to the good Ole swiftech!
Now this seems like a good idea.
Have to be careful because where the build goes from here can either make or break the aesthetic I'm after. 16' aluminum does a fantastic job both hiding our removal of phanteks nifty little slide system.
This mod was critical to adding additional cable management space while simultaneously relieving the cable stress and hiding a few other things
Making sort of a notch style pump bracket for mid plate
Time to cut!
MC finally restocked the 9900k!
Gotta have good tools if you're going to constantly test fit things throughout the build
This is where the machine spends its nights
Eyeballing the loop pattern. Lots of possibilities
So far so go-wait, what happened? Lol
Chris is just full of brilliant ideas
God I want to light this up
