This was back in my old workstation, rocking a GTX 1070 FE and a GTX 650 for my 3th monitor since I didn't have monitor inputs that mached the GTX 1070 so used the GTX 650 just to power my 3th monitor via VGA.
This was just before I installed CableMod cables. I had most of the cables out. Also did a little maintenance.
2 summers back, just yearly dust removal and maintenance. You can see the IKEA RGB led strip controller here aswell.
One of the old pictures, still had the GTX 650 inside and the old memory. Still 1 HDD
Sideshot which I really loved for a long time. Messy desk, clean rig.
Case fully closed with the RGB lighting on. I've really enjoyed this build for so long. At night the RGB lighting was amazing and wasn't even to bright, just perfect.
Personal gaming / working machine | Build 001
Okay, so this build has been in the work and constant evolvement for the past 5 years. This started as a simple prebuild from Medion. This had a i7-4770, 2TB HDD, 8GB ram, GTX 650 and Windows 8.1.
I started with moving everything from the original machine over to a Corsair 750D. Ofcourse I came to realise that the PSU cables where not long enough to reach my motherboard and so on. I ended up having the PSU sitting sideways in the middle of the case for a year since I didn't have money for a new PSU at that time. Over the years I started upgrading, removing and changing a ton a things. Unfortunatly my RM1000i give up on life so I had to buy a new one. I didn't need that much power anymore so I downgraded to a RM650x. That's why the specsheet is RM650x but pictures show a RM1000i. Also, built has been fitted with red CableMod extensions. Stay tuned for more!
At the time of posting this build it has been set up to date with lastest version. Once I add / remove more things I'll make sure to edit the specs and also post in the Updates / Log page.
As of now I don't have any pictures of the rig in this stage. The machine is full of dust so don't want to take any pictures now. In the next couple weeks I'm doing a full room rebuild which include complete new desk and ofcourse a little maintenance on the rig. Will take some pictures and update the buildlog.
Current 3DMark score HERE. Once upon a time score HERE. (I've build a 6x RX570 mining rig and tested 2 GPU's with modded BIOS and mining drivers on my gaming machine just to see what score it would give.)
