Ol' Bessie is a 10 year old Dell xps 435mt that's used basically for HTPC at this point, and occasional space heater in the winter. But the old girl still has plenty of juice for 1440p gaming Sort of a sleeper build; the i7 920 got tossed in favor of a Xeon W3565 and Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste The original Radeon 4850 and wheezy OE power supply are long gone, it's got an Asus ROG STRIX GTX 1070 and Antec blue 650w 80+ PSU 12GB G.Skill DDR3, Samsung 512gb SSD
Case mods include a 120mm front fan wedged somewhere in there And 2x 120mm vent holes cut under the video card, so it never gets hot, because the x16 slot is the 2nd from the bottom for whatever reason. 2x layers of feet for increased airflow from underneath Cable management and airflow were clearly not priorities when Dell designed this case
This fully polished turd cranks out 60+ fps in 1440p after alllll these years
