The MSI Suprim Liquid X is such a sexy piece of hardware.
For AM5 the contact frame isn't necessary, but I like using them to keep thermal paste off of the capacitors along the sides.
Obligatory cable management shot. The cable extensions are handmade using MDPC-X sleeving.
The GPU's rad is a 240mm, which left an awkward gap.
I made a shell out of 3mm acrylic to fill in the gap.
No more awkward gap.
I wanted the GPU rad fans to be controlled by the GPU. The new SL120 fans make this hard; the fan and RGB wires are bundled together and only plug into the Lian Li controller. I separated the fan wires out so they can be driven by the GPU/motherboard headers.
In case anyone is interested in doing this fan mod, here's the pinout for the SL120 V2 cables.
