N(octua)case M1 on Air/Water

I recently switched a few parts in my Ncase M1 build, so time to post an updated-ish build. There have been four major changes, one of which is likely temporary:

1) GPU: Upgraded from the Gigabyte 2080 (had some shoddy power connectors anyways) to the MSI RTX 3080 Ventus GPU, which fits in the M1 like a glove when deshrouded. I've been running this card for over a year now...as you can tell from the dust. Since this is an SFF build, the lower power limit of the Ventus is not a problem since undervolting was always the plan.

2) CPU Cooler: Temporarily switched from the EK Basic 240mm AIO to the Noctua (of course) C14S to avoid potential issues/delays at the airport as a carry-on. Going from air to water (and 4 fans in push/pull to 2 fans) causes CPU and GPU thermals to take a slight hit, but still far from throttling. Pretty impressive air cooler considering I have been running my 9900KF lately at 5.2ghz @ 1.365v (trying this temporarily for bump in specific games). At this point, I've gone full Noctua... and it feels right.

3) RAM: This Patriot Viper Steel B-die kit went on sale so I bought it to give RAM OCing a serious try. Running this 2x16GB kit it at 4000mhz CL15 15-15-15-37 @ 1.48v. I still feel like a noob when it comes to RAM OCing and I could probably optimize it further, but I get lost in the secondary and tertiary timings.

(Not pictured) 4) Monitor: Upgraded to a AW2721D 1440p 240hz 27" IPS panel from a AW2518HF 1080p 240hz 24.5"TN panel. Truly the sweet spot for basically any use, from WFH, videos, to sweaty competitive FPS games (where it really shines). Don't see myself upgrading to 4K for quite a while. Not pictured because my desk is not camera ready, but the monitor looks exactly like all the others of this model.

RIP Ncase M1 Classic. In the time between making these upgrades, this iconic SFF case was discontinued. It makes sense given the growing size and power of components, but the end of an era nonetheless. Seeing the 4090 roll out makes me wonder if this could be my last primary build in my M1, but I like it so much that I'd like to keep it going for years to come.
