I'm not sure if my case specifically was like this or if it's a nzxt problem. however I noticed while building this system all of the threaded holes in this case were extremely difficult to get screws into. I thought at first I was striping them however I took almost 2-3 min on each screw to make sure I wasn't and one after another noticed how difficult they were to get in. As well as noticing that the atx stand offs didn't quite line up perfectly for my axt motherboard. Again I'm not sure if I got a dud but this will be the last nzxt case I purchase. Figured Id share this just because the issues I stated made this build take much longer than it should have. Other than that no issues and booted right up on the first power up.
The cpu and gpu have been tested max load for 24hrs. With the cpu at 5.1 ghz @1.27v temps never went over 78c and the gpu @2050mhz never hitting 70c. Had to adjust fan curves and power limit on the gpu for it to boost this high however it was as simple as maxing one slider and done. Also would like to say even with the fans that come with this case and the corsair h115i pro aio this build is whisper quiet even when gaming. Haven't touched any fan curves for the case fans and have the aio setting set to extreme. I still can't hear anything.
The pc tower all in all I purchased everything for micro center and the total after tax came to $1,478.72. The monitor can be had for under 400$ at the time of upload on Amazon for 1440p 144hz-165hz gsync panel. All in all this is what most people actually need and for the price it's not bad at all. Hope you enjoy!
Waiting on desk and other game room decor to arrive in the mail and will update and finish cable management.
