Maingear F131 DIY - Chrome Hardtubes

Hi,

I was impressed with how cleaned the Maingear F131 Superstock custom builds were when i first laid eyes on it (CES 2018). I've always built computers myself but I said if I ever were to buy a pre-built, the F131 would be it! Well, fast forward a few years and I'm due for an upgrade. With 2 young kids, I don't have much time and considered a pre-built. After configuring my ideal parts on the Maingear website, the total came out to a little over $7K... (eek). I estimate this is about a 80-100% premium if I were to do it myself. While I appreciated the craftmanship and engineering that went into the case and H20 system, I couldn't get myself to pay that much when I could possibly do it myself. Fortunately Maingear sells the case and Apex system separately (about $1K). Parts list below.

Proc: 9900K
Mobo: MSI Z390m Gaming Edge MATX
Ram: 32mb Dominator Platinum ROG, 4x8mb 3200
PSU: Corsair AX1200
Video: EVGA 2080TI Hydrocopper
SSD: WD Black 1tb SN750
Cooling: Custom Hardline with barrow fittings
Case: Maingear F131 + Apex Distribution Block

The case is nice. Sturdy and even comes with double riser cables (wasn't expecting this to be included). Double pumps already installed.
