HandicappeDADs' OASIS

I have dubbed my pc OASIS, because in the midst of all the chaos surrounding my life with three kids and even more pets, my pc is getaway, my calm relaxing place in the storm. I am disabled, and as such spend most of my time stationary. It is very difficult for me to move without assistance, and as such I like to think of OASIS as my battlestation, and command headquarters for our whole home.

I started this build on an extreme budget when the 2400g was released, thinking it would be an upgrade from my old laptop for playing CSGO. The first day I had it running I got the new Star Wars battlefront game and have been pushing towards this finished build slowly ever since.

Oasis was originally comprised of:
Asrock ab350m mobo
Ryzen 5 2400g
adata 2x4@3000 ram
adata 120gb ssd
EVGA 400 bronze
Cheapest case I could buy on newegg (around $20!)

At the time SSD's and ram prices were considerably higher than they are currently, but this extreme budget build still came in at around $420 all together.

I decided that I would like to move towards being able to stream my game sessions with my oldest son, who is about to turn 10, for posterity. My intention is to broadcast live, and then he and I will go through together and edit our game sessions in to small youtube videos for our friends and family.

Sound quality is very important to me, so although my build has a good portion of budget dedicated for that purpose, I wouldn't suggest it for everyone. My son's build (coming soon!) uses integrated Realtek audio from his mobo, and I can't see him, or most consumers needing an upgrade beyond that point.

I began the planning and slowly started upgrading, finally finishing the afternoon of 03/02/2019.

I upgraded that twenty dollar case into the still budget friendly Deepcool Mattrex 550, but Oasis currently consists of:

Asrock ab350 pro4 mobo
Ryzen 5 2400g cpu
Adata 2x8@3000 ram
EVGA BLACK 2060 gpu
Creative SoundblasterX AE-5 soundcard
Corsair cx650m psu
adata 120gb bootdrive & WD blue 1TB@7200

My peripherals are:

Sennheiser HD6xx - Headphones
Harmon Kardon 2.1 - Speakers
Blue Snowall w/Boom - Microphone
Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro M - KB
SteelSeries Rival 600 - Mouse
2x curved 24'' 1080p monitors, main VA 144hz, 2nd IPS 60hz.

That's everything, I do believe! If you have any questions feel free to ask. This build has been a long time in the making, and I am very happy to finally consider this done. Oasis is everything I could have dreamed of, and more
