Originally built as a workhorse computer for BIGKevin (CMO of ModMyMods). Version 1 was built and completed to put on display for CES2018 in the Alphacool suite.
Featuring all sorts of great Alphacool goodies, the custom PC also includes various services that ModMyMods offers. We laser etched the top & front panels of the Phanteks EVOLV ATX case and cut out our infamous "air flow" design using the watercooled CNC at the shop. Since it was BIGKevin's first attempt at hard tubing, to make it easier we used fittings to make the bends allowing us to just make straight cuts. Although it was double the cost in fittings, it saved us from the headaches of bending tube. Honestly not very effective LOL. This was our first attempt at full RGB on everything using what LED strips were available at the time. This was before 5v digital RGB was even a thing and challenged us to get all of the RGB to work accordingly. This would change later on when we would recreate the build for PAX East 2018.
Everything from single braid cables to watercooling the RAM, all of it was custom. We tried to use all of the newly released parts from Alphacool to show off their products as well as our building capabilities. The rig featured Alphacool Eisbrecher radiators, the acrylic D5 reservoir with the VP755 pump, the plexi D-RAM X4 waterblock, the "polished" XPX Eisblock (CPU Waterblock) and the GPX-N Eisblock for GTX 1080ti (GPU Block). We worked with MR_UPC to have the cables sleeved and cut to custom length, as well as Chris.designs to add in a GPU backplate. Most of these products would be replaced the the next version of the build.
