The whole setup. Desk has a few scratches in it, as it was used when I bought it. Laminate is on the way!
My view. 144hz goodness!
Front of the case, or I guess the right side of the desk.
My rig, Looks better in person, and I wish the GPU came with a backplate :/

First built this back in 2015 as my main gaming rig. I am in school, and I don't have much money to build a new computer, so I just decided to upgrade this one. First of all, the case is a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv; Spray painted black. The case was originally silver, but it didn't go with the red and black color scheme. Its only rocking an i7-6700K, a Gigabyte 1070Ti 8gb, and 16 Gigabytes of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 ram, which, don't get me wrong, is still a very powerful rig for gaming, but as I am a video editor and streamer, it tends to struggle with heavier loads. The cpu is overclocked to 4.5GHz on all 4 cores, and the GPU is set to 120% power limit, +240 on the boost clock, and +200 on the memory clock. This gets me excellent frame rates on many games at ultra settings, and still sits above 100fps. The cpu never hits anything higher than 78º Celsius, and the GPU has never went past 92º Celsius, as that is my limit in the AORUS Overclocking software. In the end, this is still a very capable system, and the only real upgrades I have done to it since 2015 have been a new case, and a new graphics card. (Old one was a EVGA 960 4gb) I had my 960 until a few months ago when I got my first 144hz display. It was unable to provide the framerates necessary, so I bought the 1070ti. I have a 500gb Samsung 860EVO as my boot drive, and a 4tb+1tb Western Digital HDD, so I have plenty of storage for my games and videos. I know this isn't exactly the best build out there, but hey, it has gotten me through 4 years, and that's all that matters. I hope you have enjoyed my build, and I wish you a great day! (My desk is not exactly in the best shape, I just bough it yesterday for $35, and it was a steal! I bough some black laminate to resurface it, but I'm waiting for a warm day to do it here in Michigan. Might upgrade my CPU down the road, but for now it works great.
