Akira build
Presenting the Akira Build! It is inspired by the 1988 Sci-fi/Action film 'Akira' and based off of the motorcycle owned by the character, Kaneda. My idea was to create a build that looked like one of the Akira containment tubes was powering or taking control of the motorcycle itself, achieved by modifying the water reservoir for the cooling loop. I had the concept of this pc in my head for well over 5 years before I finally found all the parts that I felt best matched my vision of it. My main concern was finding a case that looked "fast" or "motorcycle-y". When I saw the Antec Torque, I knew it had just the look I was going for. Once I got it, I sanded it down, primed it, did a base glitter coat, painted most of the outside panels a ruby red, clear coat, and polished to a mirror shine. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. When it's in the light it absolutely sparkles like a brand new car fresh out the factory. Then to give it the iconic look, I made custom holographic stickers the bike has as seen in the film. I think the lime green RGB lights really help pull it together since it mimics the bolts of electricity Kaneda's bike gives off when accelerating or breaking.
-Sorry. Had to repost. Trying to enter contest and couldn't because one of the parts was pending review. My gpu waterblock is for a 2080 oc model. Put the 2080 ti waterblock until it's past review.
