Front view of the Workspace, almost satisfied with the cable-management, but somethings remain to be done.
Top-Down View, better look at Keyboard and Mouse, also the not fully funtional Media-Control.
A look inside the dusty and mirrored case. This part of the Setup needs the most work. Cablecombs and correct setup of the Motherboard Leds are planned.
The Rotary Encoder Knob has the perfect size, im not sure if id rather have a black one though.
Thinking about taping of the Arduino LEDs, but they are not bothering me at the moment.
With the new Macropad and the changed PC-Location
A Starting Point
The current state of my Setup, after starting without having much of a concept of the direction i wanted to go, i am now trying to put together my ideal Workspace for Gaming, Programming and relaxing. Where possible im trying to add functionality for ease of use like Laptop-Docking-Stations, Arduino Media-Control and Hotkeys.
There are currently two arduinos connected to the pc.
The frist one allows midi controll by touching the brass inserts at the top of the desk.
The other provides volume controll aswell as macrokeys f13 up to f17.
At the moment the desk also provides the possibility to hook up a Laptop to a dockingstation under the plate with a single usb-c cable. This connects to both monitors, using a usb switch mouse, keyboard, audio and mediacontrol can be switched between pc and laptop by a single button press.
Really thinking of getting a 30Series Founders Edition as i think it would look amazing, bit expensive just to get it for the aesthetic though.

After using a macropad which was designed to mount to the desk for a while i now rebuild it to be more flexible. Credit for the 3D model goes to Dwin17 on Thinigverse.
