side panel barely fits, the EATX mobo takes away a lot of the usual cable management options
and current setup!
X79 - Now Dissassembled
--- GPU not currently in this rig, I'll pull/republish it once I have a replacement or swap the 1660 Ti back in here (currently waiting on a Vega 56 trying to make it here from Russia) ---
Build is up and running, rebuilt from when jt was in my Air 540 due to space constraints on my desk. The P400 is tougher to fit everything in, but much more compact.
P14S fans arrive tomorrow, will swap those out with the stock AIO fans. I’ve also ordered a Vega 56 Nitro+ LE, if that arrives and is legit (it was a very good price but also from Russia so we’ll see...) then I’ll likely put it in this build, replacing the 1660 Ti.

Swapped out rad fans
Swapped out the stock EVGA rad fans with NF-P14S ones, temps are a little worse since they cap out at a lower rpm but the noise level and profile.... good lord it's a massive, massive difference. Stock EVGA fans can spin in excess of 2000rpm IIRC, but at anything over 1200 they're very loud and have an extremely noticeable tone. Whereas even at 1500rpm the P14s are quieter than the EVGA ones when the system is idling.
