I have always been a technician and an early adopter of technology. But after completing my first build in July 2019 the power and complexity of constructing and learning about my own PC has quickly become my favorite pastime. From the beginning I have been a Windows desktop PC user, most likely because I was given the gift of a Lazer 386SX 25mhz with a 100mb hard drive running Windows 3.1 back in 1992. But I was never interested in taking off the cover to understand what was inside. Now that I am older and have many years of electronics experience do I finally realize what I should have been doing all along. Now that I've come to this realization I have been dedicating nearly all of my free time to learning about all aspects of PC building including hardware, software, cooling, manufacturing processes, overclocking and gaming.
