For about the last 10 years I've been using a Panasonic 46" plasma TV and Klipsch home theater in a box and while it was a great setup, I wanted to upgrade to a larger screen size and to finally move over to 4k.
Last year I purchased a LG 65" B9 OLED / Samsung Q90R soundbar and decided to build a PC in the living room strictly for couch gaming. Originally it was going to be a low powered system for retro games (Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, etc...) but then I got back into Steam and wanted something that could also run more modern games at 4k, so I ended up using some parts from a previous build.
I'm a big fan of Noctua and using the NH-U9S was no different than using any of their other high end coolers, and working in the Silverstone GD09B was great, I like how it's pretty compact for an ATX case, but I modded it a little by cutting the stock metal fan grills, as well as the plastic ones on the filters.
Overall I'm happy with the build and look forward to catching up on my backlog of Steam games
