Needed a test bench and wasn’t happy with the price or availability of those in my area, so I made my own!
Doesn’t look particularly great, but it’s super easy to hot swap anything on here. This AIO also makes it easier to adapt to any socket type.
Used a cheap 1700 mobo as a template for the mounts, but it will also serve as a nice 1700 socket test board.
The plexiglass was actually really nice to work with as a top for the bench.
I framed the bench with aluminum to add rigidity and provide space to bolt on other features.
After wrapping the 1000w psu and mounting it to the bottom, I got ready to attach the wooden legs.
Everything lined up perfectly!
Used some brackets and an extra fan mount from a different case to install the AIO. The fans pull fresh air through the rad and blow it towards the rest of the board to cool everything else.
I was really happy with the way it turned out! Much more fun building my own test bench.
