TT Armor Jr. Revision

Bought this gaming machine in 2007 from XMX, this Build has changed quite a few times since then.

The last major upgrade was in 2016, when i replaced the Intel Core 2 Duo with an i5 6600K. New Board, new CPU, new Cooler and a new GPU (Sapphire Nitro R9 380X).

In 2020 i decided to build a Mini-ITX Gaming PC as my main machine and the old Thermaltake Armor Jr. was benched. Until now.

Today i really appreciate its old-school aluminium case, the old Skylake and its capabilities. It‘s heavy as fuck, but it still rocks! And so i decided to give it a little spin-up as my second gaming rig running Nobara Linux.

I cleaned everything up, doubled the RAM, added a SSD, put in a new, more capable, quiet PSU and a RTX 2080 Super, which i got really cheap.

Take a look at the new internals, i hope you enjoy this build! There is more to come…
