The State
| WORK IN PROGRESS |
The watercooling parts that are listed, is what I've planned to put in, most of the parts are underway. Stay tuned for updates!
I always had a thing for premium cases. The first PC I built in ‘99 cut my hands in so many places… But then, around 2005 I saved for a Lian Li PC60 and I swore never to buy cheap steel fingercutting rubbish again. I kept my word and that case until I gave in to the Apple-craze because of work and having something else to do but pC MAst3R RaCe![Emoji]()
I’ve been using Apple devices in one way or another until a couple of months ago an itch came up to assemble my own build once again. Bought a Fractal (Pop Silent) case after summer 2024, just so there would be an office system to do some hybrid stuff on for work.
When my employer suggested that I'd use a grant to build something cool for myself ánd use for work, I searched the web for the perfect case. Couldn't find it at Lian Li, NZXT, Phanteks, Fractal and all the screaming gaming-wild cases made me throw up a little in my mouth. And then I found the HS420 VGPU and after that the only search was what components would be in it.
It's perfect. I love it. It makes me want to build it out to near perfection, make it pretty, make it as good as I am able to. Fantastic that the case is able to suit all needs, so no cutting, gutting, grinding and screwing up needed.
… and then discover that you've put 24h++ just to build the first iteration in a weekend, having a blast! And the hobby was reborn.
Since the first build quite a lot has changed already, more about the process will be posted soon, as I find out how this site works...
This is what it is now, but a custom loop watercooling system is coming very soon, preparations starts next week.
