Mind the mess, I live here lol. Don't have shelves to put anything on so my desk is all I've got.
Can't really get a good angle while it's sitting on the floor, the window isn't very big anyway.
About all I could do, this desk was really hard to work around.
I guess I could've ran the monitor cord down the leg, but it would look worse because you can see the other side of the desk.
Temps are below 70°C on 1 hour test RealBench. Core Voltage is 1.230 before adaptive mode.
The Good, the Bad, and the Overkill
Yeah, it's more than a little rough. I'm gonna rebuild it during the Summer after I get a part-time job and make it pretty. Between me and two buddies we put it all together even though it shouldn't have worked, the case doesn't even support the CPU cooler. Speaking of the case, nowadays it would certainly not be my first choice, I could get much better for the same price, but I was trying to get it made a little too fast. I made sure all the parts worked together, but not if they looked good together or how efficient it was. It's still working after three years though, and I'll put it in a new case, get some new storage, and rewire it during the rebuild. Oh, and you don't need to tell me about the PSU being ridiculous. I kinda figured a little after I made it that it was crazy. The OC on the 6700k is my 24/7 load that runs below 70°C, but it's running a little hot because we used the stock thermal paste so I'm going to reseat it soon. I can't get my GPU to overclock in MSI Afterburner right now, I'll fix it later. This is the year of upgrading so I'll have a draft log out soon.
Edit 1: I've picked up a lot of new stuff but I put off taking the pictures, so now everything is dusty again. I'll make sure to take some when I clean it, but I'm sure you're still going to hate me cause I had to route the CPU cable through the front. I swear I tried for 20 minutes to pull it through the back but alas it was too short.
