Spare AM5 Build 1

Got a bunch of parts for my main desktop system & it was using an Asrock X870 Steel Legend mobo which I eventually wanted to pair with a future Zen 6/7 X3D CPU. Even though that's way in the future as of writing this I got worried with all of the Asrock & X3D CPU issues that have happened. So I got a Gigabyte X870E AP Ice but they really didn't design those boards to use Ryzen 8000 series CPUs & I was able to get a good deal on a 7700X for my main desktop to "solve" that. Making the 8700F "bonded" with this mobo then & both were spare parts I had after finalizing my main desktop. Also during July, to counter Amazon Prime Day sales MicroCenter had a few items on crazy blowout pricing - one of which was the NZXT H7 Flow (2024) in White for just $30 (USD). Given the Asrock X870 SL needed a White case I figured why not pair them together. RAM was purchased on eBay before the whole shortage & I decided to get 48GB kit @ 6400 just to see if 6400 was worth it along with just trying 3GB based memory sticks just to try them (also bought before shortage). I have a bunch of spare Corsair HXi & RMi PSUs that I get off eBay as they have a runtime counter in them so I'm a bit more comfortable using pre-used PSUs after testing them & knowing their overall runtime. The storage NVMe drive I got with a laptop & needed to be RMA'd (which I did) so I felt it was a good fit for this build. GPU I originally got for another build but after getting another GPU for it along with REALLY wanting to try the RX 6950XT as a RX 7900XT owner as well since they are always pretty close in benchmark charts. That was a refurb card that was clearanced (so bought refurbed & returned) at my local MicroCenter so for the price it was I didn't mind pushing my bank account a bit tight for that purchase. I bought the CM Universal Vertical GPU mount for my main desktop as well but the original 7900XT I had used with my main build's case plus that vertical mount made it not work so I got one from AliExpress that was PCIe 5.0 as well just so I didn't have to remember about it in the future so the CM one became spare. The CPU cooler I got knowing it was going to be for secondary PC, 105w CPU, wanting to try TR's "Digit" lineup & since it's TR always, at a great price. I got the TR 28mm fans used on the bottom for my main build but changed them out for the same 28mm thick yet higher RPM models so again spare & in white. After watching a bunch of YT videos talking about using the top mounted fans as intakes & wanting to try out reverse blades fans too (got out of consumer grade hardware for a bit) along with this build being in a pretty clean environment without pets I figured this would be a perfect to try both with this build. The monitor I got for free from a botched eBay listed but I needed to get a stand & PSU for it - PSU came from an old died laptop too with finding the stand on Amazon for cheap given it's similarly priced competition and well made too. I just needed to get my own set of M4 bolts bc the one set of included screws with the stand were too short. OS drive I got on eBay just before the RAM/NAND shortage too so great price & with 99% lifespan left. After getting a similar Geforce ARGB plaque/"panal" (AliExpress item) that I really like I knew I wanted a few more along with the Radeon model - figuring out the placement only took a few seconds too & looks great where it is.
