Scrap NAS

AD:
Motherboad and cpu from old pc and disks from school and old PCs. Everything is old and used. Case and psu from old school pc. Cooler is actually a pretty good and almost silent. HBA is from aliexpress, actually very good and already in IT so truenas works perfectly with it. 7 500GB HDDs in total plus 1 samsung 128gb ssd as boot disk. The 7 disks are in raid 6.

Server has Truenas core as the operating system. Plex, VPN and MineOs are installed on Virtual Machines.
