My trusty old build, with augments to it as and when needed
My first gaming PC which I had got 6-7 years ago. Came with i5 3450, Intel dh67cl motherboard, power colour hd 5770,4gb Corsair value select, 1TB Hitachi hard drive and some generic case and power supply.
Down the years new parts have been installed. Only the Ram, cpu and motherboard of it remains everything else has been replaced.
First upgrade I remember adding 2x4GB Corsair vengeance ram to increase total ram to 12GB.
The next was to install an exhaust fan and get a good psu for the gpu upgrade which would come next. Got Corsair af120 for some air flow and cooler master v750s ( replaced to v1000 by RMA due to v750s breaking ). Then I bought wd black 2tb since 1tb HDD feeling low on space. Few months later I got my r9 390, and with it came the need to get a new case since it didn't fit in my old one. This was the first time I disassembled and assembled a PC. Few months later the 1tb HDD broke and I got Toshiba p300. Also got 2x deepcool uf120 and xfan120 to aid in airflow. Recently my psu broke which got upgraded to v1000 and the old case's front panel was also going bad, so bought phanteks p400s. Sadly my DVD drive had to be removed now cuz now 5.25" bay in it. This is the story of how my PC had gone through various stages in its lifecycle. Next upgrade would be cpu/motherboard/ram/ssd, removing any traces of my first ever gaming PC.
I plan to make it more black and white and use led strips to provide colour accents. Would be painting Corsair af120's rubber feet as white, and the case of uf120 to white in the near future.
