I've always wanted to build an ITX machine, and something that's a little different to the (admittedly awesome) water-cooled, ATX monsters out there.
So I slotted an i3 into a Gigabyte B660 board, got a Gigabyte 6750XT to match (taken from my primary workstation after an upgrade), and a 92mm cooler to keep the motherboard side nice and compact!
I've seen Da6 XL's with dual towers and such, and I could've easily done that here. But there's something deeply satisfying about 92mm fans on ITX boards: it just feels so cohesive somehow!
Another deviation from other DA6 builds: I deliberately mounted the PSU fan backwards, giving me a big, black canvas on the Motherboard side to add artwork, a stats display, or a SATA SSD to name a few ideas.
By Buildsgg standards, this is a very simple build. But I hope it appeals to some of you! Wasn't really built for any specific purpose either: just built it for fun!
