Evel Knievel [2017]
This mod was created on an older AV8 Custom Case. The case was made out of all clear acrylic with an orange steel frame. The case was disassembled, clear acrylic bottom, sides and top were painted matte black, as well as the steel frame.
On the top of the case I have a set of real handlebars, pulling on the brake lever in front of the throttle turns on the computer. I did this by utilizing the built-in brake light momentary switch built into the brake lever.
Between the handlebars is an actual piece of the "X2 Rocket" Evel Knievel used in 1974 for the Snake River Canyon Jump in Idaho. This was purchased through a memorabilia dealer and came with certificate of authenticity. The coins on the side of the case are memorabilia from this same 1974 event.
