A rather simple build that was a gift for a family member.
Since I had to keep the price as low as possible while focusing on the performance there's not much bling here. 1050 Ti hit the perfect price/performance ratio so that was an easy choice. I decided to go with the simple, locked down CPU instead of K variant as I wouldn't be able to service the system in the future and I felt that this will be plenty of compute power for many years given the use case. This also meant I could use B360 chipset board instead of the more expensive Z.
Oddly enough, I feel like the highlight of the build is the case. I was really impressed with how good it was, especially considering it was less than £40. Included 3 fans, plenty of room in the back for cables, full glass side panel, dust filters on all intakes and plenty of expansion, might even be able to fit a custom water loop in there without much trouble. This does however mean that at the moment it feels rather empty inside, especially with how small the 1050 Ti is, but as I had to prioritize the price and not looks I decided it was better to do this rather than get a smaller case forcing a swap down the line.
