this would look cool with a transparent side panel too.

After the Zen 2 launch, the 2200G has dropped to $60.
I built in the Thermaltake Versa H15 a few months back and I've been eyeing the H17 since then, thinking it would be a nice subtle case. A Prime Day flash deal came up so I gave it a shot and tbf, I'm kind of disappointed. Maybe my tastes have changed, but there's pretty much no way to make a PC in this case look interesting. The H15 at least has the mesh front that let me show off some LED fans. I was hoping some case LEDs would shine through small grill around the front panel and give a subtle glow, but its too constricted to even have that. That said, the H17 its easy to build in, has plenty of room, and cooling is fine, at least for a 2200g.
This RAM tho. Its the cheapest stuff I could find - builds.gg doesn't even have OLOy available as a manufacturer. At the time of purchase, I was praying I could get this to run at 3000 MHz - APUs use system RAM and poor performance can really hold it back in gaming. I put these sticks in the PC and realized they don't even have an XMP profile and Thaiphoon burner doesn't list much other than manufactured by Micron. So I started turning up the clocks. 2400, 2666, 2800, 3000, 3200, 3400, 3600, crash. Ok, so this ram might actually be badass. I eventually settled on 3400MHz at 1.26V - it responded poorly to more voltage, similar to other cheap Micron sticks I've used in the past.
