So a friend needed a work pc. Something that would be snappy, responsive and get the work done. No video card but we but I snagged a spare 7700k and Asus prime z270 as a starting point. We then put about $400 into case, memory, ssd. Realizing I had a spare power supply we reused that though the fit of the 8 pin power supply cables to the top of the case was a close call. Overall the machine is very responsive and something that would be enjoyable to use day in and day out.
