Small SFF Sliger SM550
Finally received the Sliger SM550 case that I had ordered. It was delayed a bit due to the Pandemic (Hope everyone is staying safe!) but it has finally arrived. I am transferring all the parts that are in my Ophion SFF case to this new one. The Ophion was an ok case that suffered from poor ventilation due to the glass side panels. there are panels with ventilated holes that you can purchase but they are always sold out. The i7 6700K that I was originally using stopped working so I installed an i5 6500 that I had around. trying to replace the 6700K was going to expensive. I wanted to use what I had and not invest in new components. That will come later on as an upgrade when Ryzen 4000 series releases. I had a lot of fun cramming all these parts into this tiny case. Everything came together as it should have and I could not be more impressed with this case. I am using the Shadow Rock LP to passively cool the i5 6500 and its doing a good job at it, the max temp I see on the hottest core is 70C. May need to de-lid later on. I also under-volted the GTX 1070 to bring the temps down as well without sacrificing on performance.
