In 2020 I have built off my first custom PC to play games with my brothers in another city.
It was an amazing experience for me, to explore that there are many things to manage and to adjust to get a good working gaming computer.
Finally I was a little bit disapointed about my choice (it was good anyway) of graphics-card, because it was a tiny bit too much noisy under load. So in my mind the idea grew up to change something.
Do I buy another GPU? Maybe - but wait for the new stuff, that is coming up... [Ha! You know the situation is out of control]
Long story short: I changed my mind to modificate my existing hardware to something new. From noisy to silent. From air-cooling to liquid-cooling.
Pouw! Here we are: Many hours of research later, the build is finished. It takes a few months to collect all the parts for the build.
My first requirment was the liquid-cooling, the second was to change-over from ATX form to mITX.
In that way it was a really big challenge to find the right cooling-block for the lovely MSI 2070 Super Ventus OC. But finally I found Bykski as a manufacturer; not only for the GPU-block, also for the CPU-block, fittings and everything else for the liquid-cooling. In the end I have only five labels in my setup: Phanteks, MSI, Kingston, Bykski and Seasonic (the info display is by GOverlay).
One notice: The connection from GPU to the port on top shroud - next to the surge tank - isn't in level. I have to put in some spacer to balance the 2 or 3 milimeters.
