Pumpkin Console

I took a Halloween Decoration and retrofitted it with a laptop motherboard.

It has RGB lighting that scan sense and change color based on sound. The original spooky animatronic system is still in place which can be turned on and activited by the motion sensor to create spooky sound effects. This in turn activates The RGB lighting effects.

Retrofitted with a 7 port self powered USB hub in the front for controls. This system has multiple USB controllers from different console eras, this is to match the Rom and Emulation integrated into the system. The design is running Batocera Linux with multiple Emulators and 250GB of Roms installed. It smoothly plays games all the way up to the Wii and Gamcube.

Integrated into Batocera Linux is also a custom Kodi Build from Misfit mods. The entire system is controller friendly making switching between movies, games, etc seamless.

This is all running on an i5 3320m with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500GB 7200RPM HDD (Solid States have no power here). I have videos of my system in action however I cant find a spot to upload
