This will be my 2nd Ryzen build in as many years; what was supposed to be an upgrade has turned into a full rebuild! I'm going from Ryzen 9 3900, B550, 6600xt, DDR4 32gb to Ryzen 9 7900, X670E, 7900xt, DDR5 64gb.
I want to be able to do (or try) whatever I want (gaming, graphics, streaming, etc.) at 1440 for the next few years, leaving room for upgrades. When I'm ready, going to 4k should be no more than a new monitor, and upgrading the video card and/or processor.
Aesthetically I really like how clean the white builds look these days, so I'm going for a full white build, including monitor, keyboard and mouse. I'll use black as an accent color, since it's easy to find most things in black.
Needing a white monitor has limited my choices a bit - I could have gotten a Gigabyte 144hz monitor in black for rougly the same price as the 100hz MSI I got in white. But for now it shouldn't be a big deal for me.
In each build I like to use different components from the same brand, hoping to create a synergy in the system. For this build I'm going to try out T-Force (Team Group) for memory, cpu cooling, storage and boot drives. I really like the presentation of their products, and the price point has been great for what I'm looking to build.
I will use a T-Force AIO pump for the cpu, but the rest of the build will use fans. I'm not quite ready to plan out a liquid cooling build, so it's something to look forward to in the next build!
All built inside the beautifully robust, snow white Thermaltake Tower 500.
The order of the build will be:
1. Install PSU, and fans
2. Install SSD drives
3. Install Cpu and M.2 drives in motherboard
4. Install Motherboard and AIO
5. Install GPU, bracket, and connections to motherboard and PSU
6. Peripherals and Cosmetics
