I wanted to play on the best and I hadn't built in a Lian Li case for myself yet so I took the plunge. I used an older EKWB Lian Li distro plate but other than having to finesse some hard lines to line up it was a pleasure to build in. It's got all the top end parts. I couldn't justify a 14900k so I went with the 13900K since I had one from a previous build. I also wanted to have the vertical GPU which I wasn't able to make happen on my last build.
Edit : I have updated the Vertical GPU bracket to a Phanteks premium v2.0. I needed to make modifications to the bracket to fit the unique latch mechanism of the EVO XL case. I basically shaved down the 3 stamped humps and drilled out the thumbscrew holes to fit. Other than that it fits perfectly.
I also swapped to a different GPU waterblock with side ports that I felt looks much cleaner.
Last item of update was adding a Razer PWM fan controller and 2 Razer Chroma RGB controllers along with Signal RGB to handle all the RGB effects.
