This is a case move, from the legendary Air Carbide 540, into a 4000x I got on sale. I decided to go with a custom loop with some EK parts with HydroX.

Was definitely time consuming, I definitely opted for soft tube as this is my first custom loop, in order to build a little confidence in what I was attempting here. Extremely tight fit as you can see. Hard line in the future for sure :)

Pump > GPU > 240(top) > CPU > 360(front) > back to pump.

Clear liquid was my choice to reduce risk of discoloration or gunking from dyes. Should my cooling system corrode, I’ll see a discoloration in the fluid through the lines.

Arguably, the 240 was unnecessary, because I’ve delidded the 10900k and running a modest 5ghz @ 1.275v, and have lowered my GPU voltage down as well to around 975mv while it’s running at 1975MhZ (1440p gaming). So the amount of electrical heat was negligible to add the 240, but I couldn’t help but throw it in there to make use of all the space.
