One of the best/cheapest AIOs out on the Market!!!
If you want an easy painless setup especially for first time builders this is the AIO for you. No software needed, no messy cables, no problem. I bought this for my Ryzen 7 1800X (Upgrading to Ryzen 7nm next year) I've looked and compared other AIOs from Corsair, NZXT, and even the new ASUS AIOs. I thought I might regret buying this but once I installed it all that went away. Even though it's a last gen asetek coldplate design it has the 5 year warranty to back it up compared to the Asus Ryuo/Ryujin which is 3. The one thing I did was I replaced the stock fans with the Noctua NF-A12x25 and NF-A12x15 for a push/pull config Running Prime95 I was hitting 67C max @ 3.9GHz OC. My system idles at 30C which is definitely better than my air cooler which was at 40-45C idle. Pump definitely doesn't make any noise which made me wondering if it was even running. The one note I can say is make sure you use the proper mounting brackets for AM4 motherboards vs AM3 and older. I made a stupid mistake and mounted the wrong one and my CPU hit 100C which tripped the overheating protection. Conclusion: Buy this cooler, Even if it looks bland and boring the ability to refill/expand the loop was worth the money and the fact that they're slapping 5 years on this just like the other high end competitors makes me really happy with my decision. AIO coolers are a tricky deal. Most pumps come from the same manufacturers, and the differentiation usually comes down to (1) quality control, (2) tube and stock fan quality, (3) ease of installation, and finally (4) aesthetics. Poor QC is usually what causes us to read those nightmare stories about AIO coolers- unexpected and random leaks being the top concern. The second horror story is usually installation, bending pins or otherwise incorrectly installing the radiator and fans.

Fractal's AIOs are way down there on aesthetics. No RGB, very spartan appearance. But the other 3 points are top notch. They have a reputation for good quality control and long lasting parts. The tubing and fan quality (stock) are great. And their installation instructions are reminiscent of Ikea- clear, consistent and heavy use of good visuals.

I can't complain. I've had the S24 for about two years now, installation was smooth and of course no leaks. Sure it doesn't have fancy lighting but honestly I *wanted* an AIO that focused more on quality than aesthetics. Fractal knocked it out of the park with their AIOs. No nonsense, just install and play. I barely notice the noise from the pump; my Corsair maglev fans are louder. Performance is top notch, my 2700x runs cool 100% of the time. Overall would recommend Fractal's AIOs and some of their fans over the competition. It's easy to get carried away with RGB and bells and whistles but what you really (should) want in an AIO cooler is quality control & ease of installation.

For the price will you pay for it to get AIO. Is easy to put on the case and it's basically 1 wire to connect to the motherboard. I live in Houston Texas so during the summer time it does get hot and humid. While the computer is idling it hovers around 35c+-. Wall under load playing video games it hovers high 40s low 50s. You can let it run at Auto for quite a performance or you can run it at pwm let the BIOS controlled the fan speed.the only thing I would say that some people would not like about this AIO is that it does not have RGB but given for the price point there are not that many areas that perform as good as this one at its price. Also this AIO can become a custom loop, YouTuber by the name of jayz2cents show you how to do it. So you don't have to buy the 360 to get better performance you can always add a reservoir thus adding more water to your system to have better cooling performance.

UPDATE: I was wrong. Ignore my original review. After replacing the cooler, the noise persisted. Turns out to be my PSU fan, the one fan I didn't test prior to replacing the cooler. My bad. Expensive mistake on my part. This cooler works fine then, since the noise wasn't coming from it.
    -=-=-=-

I bought this to replace a LEPA water cooler I had previously which started to fail.

This cooler's pump is noisy. It's a whirring noise that gets more obnoxious as it speeds up. I've tried all different configurations, PWM mode, bios changes, and nothing really quiets it up.

I have it in a Fractal Define R5 case, which has pretty good noise dampening. I thought I would get used to the noise. I was wrong. The LEPA worked and was quiet, but didn't last more than a couple years. Think I'll go back to air coolers.

This cooler is happily working to keep my I7-7700K under very good control in PWM mode. Installation is easy, even if the user manual is perhaps a little on the light side, however it has as much details as it needs.

It looks very smart, and the cabling solution is a stroke of genius so that it is easy to achieve a very tidy-set-up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, but check LGA1700 bracket availability before ordering

I bought this for a new build and everythign was smooth sailing. Because I used a 12th gen Intel processor, I had to get a mounting bracket sent from the company to fit the new lga1700 socket size. The shipping company dropped the ball on that, but that shoudn't reflect negatively on Fractal Design. Once I had all the pieces I needed, it was simple to install and it runs very quiet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfecto para mi primer AIO
